Here they are, folks! The much anticipated, largely overdue, RULES! They'll look a touch famiiar, but oldies can be goodies, too!

Well, without further ado. . Da Rulz!

Rule #1 Post an introduction! It's ok if you plan to lurk much of the time, but please post at least once. Mostly, we need to know that you're a real person, and not just a spammer, taking up space, and possibly adding questionable content to the site! (I delete probably 15 of those a day some days. . .)

Rule #2 Christian teachings will be held to our statement of Faith

Rule #3 Christian witnessing will adhere to 1Peter 3:8-16, but especially 15- "But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts; and be ready to give an answer in meekness and reverence to everyone who seeks
from you a word concerning the hope of your faith. . ."

Rule #4 No posting of spells or rituals, or *in depth* comparisons between different forms of magick. (Whatever your opinion about prayer vs. spell casting, we draw a distinction.)

Rule #5 No links, except the one for your homepage in your profile. We are responsible for the content on any page we are linked to by current American internet laws, and rather than policing every possible link this is easier. (exceptions may be made. . .talk to a staffer!)

Rule #6 Don't respond to a troller's bait or a flame war. (hehe. . .) Don’t rise to De Bait!

Rule #7 Be courteous and follow the Golden Rule.

Rule #8 Respect others' privacy. Don’t repost what was read in a private folder or email without permission.

Rule #9 Respect copyrights and other legal and/or ownership rights and restrictions.

Rule #10 The public forum must be family friendly! (Watch your language, boys and girls! )

Rule #11 Advertising and market research is restricted (and in most cases, prohibited).

Rule #12 Follow basic "housekeeping" rules, such as; watch your use of all caps (please don't shout at us!), and please do not edit your posts for their content. It's possible that while you edit, someone else is responding, and that makes a mess. (Editing for tags and spelling, etc is fine) Posting again to reword what you've already said is a better idea.

Rule #13 NO POLITICS! We are NOT a political debate forum, and are NOT interested in getting involved in such. Your opinions count, and should be counted, at the polls, not here. Religion is incendiary enough without throwing politics into the mix!

Rule #14 Respect for those working here! It is sad that this needs to be added, but apparently it does. If you tell the staff you have every intention of ignoring them, don't be surprised when you are dealt with.

Now, please, follow the intent of these rules, don't search unendingly for loopholes. I don't want this to be a chore for new members to read, and we will modify or add to them as we see the need.
