The funeral is now over. Their son played at his grand-dad's funeral and at graveside. They are sad, but seem in good spirits.

I was sorry to see of his passing. Though I disagreed with him on many issues, he was one of the good guys and a great artist. The world is a lesser place for his going. God's speed, Mr. Newman. I, too, was sad to see that he has died. I've appreciated his charity work for humans and animals alike....
